Brian Sam is the Managing Director & Group Head of Real Estate Financing, Western Canada, for Laurentian Bank Financial Group. His responsibilities include growing and managing a complex portfolio of predominately construction and interim/bridge loans across Western Canada. He manages a team of real estate professionals that cover the major centres throughout B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. As an industry leader specializing in construction financing, Laurentian Bank’s Real Estate Financing Group has served builders and developers in Western Canada for the past 3 decades. Prior to joining Laurentian Bank in 2008, Brian held several management and loan origination roles at one of Canada’s largest banks. He has been a commercial and real estate lender for over 30 years having spent his financial services career based in Alberta.
