Chris Ollenberger is a seasoned real estate development executive with over 20 years of broad real estate management, design, planning, construction and engineering experience in creating innovative, sustainable urban communities and buildings. He is well recognized for his ability to conceptualize new neighbourhoods and buildings, and carry that vision through planning, engineering, approvals and construction with cost-effective results and problem solving. Chris strives to incorporate the principals of placemaking into his projects through quality public spaces, travel corridors, visual enticement through execution in architecture and landscaping, and inclusion of public engagement as a key component in developing enthusiasm and support. He enjoys a strong track record of strategic planning, public consultation, visioning and concept development, negotiating with regulatory officials at all levels, complex land use and development approvals, engineering submissions, feasibility analysis, site acquisition, financing and effective communications. He is currently Managing Principal of QuantumPlace Developments Ltd., a development company he founded in 2012 based on sound strategy and strong execution of a variety of mixed-use, commercial, retail and residential projects for client and investor partners.
