Irene Martin-Lindsay, was born and raised in Alberta and has been the Executive Director of Alberta Seniors & Community Housing (ASCHA), since 1994. As the Association’s first and only Executive Director, she has initiated many changes, and has been privileged to participate in the transformation in Alberta’s housing sector, spanning over three decades.

Irene has a strong housing background, with experience in both the private and public sectors, along with previous work in corporate law, diverse management and administration. Innovation, change and passion keep Irene challenged and inspired. She is known for her "matter of fact" approach to issues and you can always expect a straight answer!

Motivated by dedicated and caring members, Irene is strongly committed to the seniors and community housing sector by leading a team and an association that meets member needs.
