Jeff Chase is currently the Chief Housing Officer for the City of Calgary. In his current role, he stewards Home Is Here: The City of Calgary's Housing Strategy on behalf of the Corporation and in collaboration with market and non-market housing partners. Jeff previously held positions as Director, Partnerships at the City of Calgary and Branch Manager, Economic Investment Services at the City of Edmonton. Jeff brings broad ranging private and public sector experience leading urban planning, corporate strategy, economic development, communication, and sustainability related portfolios. He has spent time in the private sector consulting in urban planning, land use, and development strategy in both Canada and abroad. Jeff holds an MA in Planning (UBC) and a PhD in Human Geography and Politics (Newcastle, UK).
