Jonathan Turnbull joined Harrison Street in 2020 and is the Head of Canada. He is responsible for developing Harrison Street’s Canadian investment strategies, building/managing the local team, sourcing transactions, and forming/developing joint ventures or investment vehicles focused on the alternative real estate market in Canada. Harrison Street Canada is leveraging its consistent global strategy and is focused on local demographics-driven alternative real estate – targeting investments in student housing, senior living, self-storage, medical office life sciences and digital/data-centers. Harrison Street Canada has created multiple institutional-grade investment vehicles over the past few years and executed on transactions worth approximately C$1.5B since the formation of its flagship Canada Core-Plus Fund in August 2021.
