Romain Collet is the AVP, Real Estate Asset Management for Western Canada with Mackenzie Investments based in Vancouver. He oversees all aspects of investment, asset management and growth of assets owned by the IG Mackenzie Real Property Fund in British Columbia, Alberta and Manitoba. The Western Canadian portfolio consists of a diversified mix of income producing and development properties with net assets’ value of approximately $1.8 billion.

Romain’s global career started in Paris, France where he was born and raised, managing a commercial real estate portfolio spread across Europe on behalf of international institutional and private equity funds. After almost a decade working in Europe, Romain moved to Vancouver in 2015 where he enjoys skiing and paddleboarding. Prior to joining the Mackenzie Investments real estate asset management team in 2018, Romain spent a few years on the mortgage lending and finance fields.

Romain holds both a Master’s in civil engineering from the ESTP in Paris and an MBA from the ESCP Europe Business School in Paris.
