Director, Green Line LRT – SE Project at City of Calgary

Wendy Tynan is the Director for the Green Line LRT – SE Project, leading the team building the City’s largest infrastructure project and first 16 kms of the overall 46-kms vision. She joined the City of Calgary and Green Line executive leadership team in 2020 with more than 20-years of diverse experience from both the private and public sectors including oil and gas, utilities, post-secondary and the Alberta provincial government.

A recognized community leader, Wendy is on the Calgary Stampede Board of Directors, is Past Chair of the Calgary Counselling Centre, and volunteers with the Epilepsy Association of Calgary and Heritage Park Society. She has previously been named one of Calgary’s Top 40 under 40 and a University of Calgary Haskayne School of Business Graduate of Distinction.

A third-generation Calgarian, Wendy is passionate about building Calgary’s future and the opportunities that the Green Line investment will deliver for our growing city.
