Bo Wiinberg is an accomplished life sciences leader with extensive experience spanning academia, biotech, and the pharmaceutical industry. As Chief Business Development Officer at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Cellerator, he drives strategic partnerships and innovation initiatives to accelerate the development and manufacturing of advanced therapies.

Prior to joining the Cellerator, Bo served as Entrepreneur in Residence at the BioInnovation Institute, where he supported the creation and growth of academic spinouts and early-stage ventures. Earlier, he spent more than a decade at Novo Nordisk A/S in senior leadership roles—including Head of Cell Therapy Strategy & Operations—where he helped shape global R&D strategy and translate emerging science into therapeutic innovation.
