Gerardo Santiago Toledo is Director, Cell Process Development at Autolus Therapeutics. He joined Autolus in 2019 where he is involved in the design, characterisation and refinement of autologous CAR-T cell manufacturing processes for early-stage and late-stage programmes. Gerry has been involved in regulatory filings (BLA/MAA, IND/IMPD), CMC strategy, late-stage process development for obecabtegene-autoleucel (obe-cel) as well as doctoral supervision in collaboration with UCL Biochemical Engineering. He has a BSc in Biotechnology Engineering from Tecnologico de Monterrey and a PhD in Biochemical Engineering from University College London (UCL) related to investigating process parameters for a potential allogeneic cell therapy for neural regeneration.
