Matthew Vaughan is a Technical Project Leader in the Viral Gene Therapies group at FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies working on developing various biologics including mammalian and microbial products. He began his career with Fujifilm over 10 years ago, and in his current role, he is responsible for leading the development of a number of client processes from research and development through to both clinical and commercial manufacture. Matthew oversees a number of Fujifilm’s advanced therapies platforms and has a key role in the company’s Advanced Therapies unit in Europe. Matthew has a BSc in Biomedical Sciences from Northumbria University.
