Pierce Kent is Head of Cell and Gene Therapy Supply Chain at Roche. A Chemical Engineer by training, Pierce started his career in the design and construction of batch chemical and pharmaceutical drug substance production facilities. After completing an MBA, Pierce pursued his interest in supply chain strategy and has an established leadership track record in the areas of Commercial and Clinical Supply Chain and Manufacturing Network Strategy. It was this interest in problem solving and supply chain design that led Pierce to pivot to Cell and Gene Therapy in 2020. Pierce has been connected to the evolution of Roche's CGT supply chain function since its inception and now leads its supply chain function including Logistics and Distribution, Patient Pack Customisation, Planning and Network Strategy.
