Dr. Puri is Scientist at Batavia Biosciences, where he is responsible for a number of upstream process development projects.

For the past 10 years, he has held positions at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen and University of Amsterdam, where he worked within a public-private partnership project. During this time, he has been involved in the development of several microbial platforms and the discovery and production of therapeutic proteins.

He has a profound background in Microbial Process Development for all major classes of biopharmaceuticals. Dr. Puri has a PhD in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology and is co-author of 8 scientific publications and book chapters.
