Alison Campbell
A professional, dynamic, and visionary trainer, coach, chairperson, public speaker and business consultant. With over 30 years of experience in as a businesswoman, Alison began her career at the age of 18 as a leasing broker working with large and/or blue-chip organisations, building her business which she later sold at the age of 23. Moving then, as a new mother, into senior leadership positions within the financial services sector, her roles included; head of training and development for a telephone bank, National partnerships manager at Aviva and regional director for Barclays Private Clients. Spans of control ranged from 10 to 500. Work streams included leading and building large, multi-disciplinary teams, developing and implementing national sales and marketing strategies, communication strategies, performance management development and implementation, departmental set up, strategic development in new markets and leading national change programmes. Effective, structured and consistent communication was, and still is, key to her success.
Working as a business consultant, she has assisted businesses from start up to exit phase, through acquisitions and mergers and conducted many board audits, viability studies and gap analysis work, often resulting in extensive cost savings for clients.
Alison is a business coach and mentor for, senior executives across many sectors, her main objective being to encourage independence and self-reliance. This often results in the emergence of entrepreneurial traits which are encouraged and developed through effective coaching and mentoring. Alison regularly assists senior executives in translating strategic direction from board meetings, into operational implementation plans.
Alison is a renowned Public speaker. She has recently spoken at Funds Forum in Monte Carlo, is due to speak at Risk Minds in Barcelona this November and regularly speaks at charity events and women networking events internationally.
As the chairperson of a national, government funded training provider and a Trustee of a children’s charity in the UK, Alison has a passion for social justice and the rights of young people and supports the ethos of “every child matters”
