Course Overview

This course has been developed in response to the increasing demand for various financial and accounting reports required in all businesses on a daily basis due to developments in the Gulf market in general, and in the UAE market in particular. Business and industrial operations, as well as the implementation of Value Added Tax (VAT) in Gulf countries, require the preparation and handling of accounting data by all parties in companies and establishments. The accounting role is no longer limited to accountants only but extends to a large segment of financial data users to enable them to manage their businesses and implement their financial and economic plans and goals based on a strong and clear basis of financial information of high quality for this purpose.

Course Requirements

Delegates must meet two criteria to be eligible for an Informa Connect Academy (ICA) Certificate of Completion:

• Satisfactory attendance - Delegates must attend all sessions of the course. Delegates who miss more than 2 hours of the course sessions will not be eligible to sit the course assessment
• Successful completion of the course assessment- Assessments will be ongoing and based on in-class participation and activities
