Hanane Becha is Standards and Innovation Senior Advisor. She is active in multiple Standards development organisations including United Nations, Digital container Shipping association (DCSA), International Organization for Standardization (ISO), ‘international Maritime Organization (IMO), Europe’s Digital Transport Logistic Forum (DTLF), and the International Air Transport Association (IATA). She is the Vice Chair for Transport and Logistics at the United Nations Centre for Trade Facilitation, and Electronic Business (UN/CEFACT) is a subsidiary, intergovernmental body of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) which serves as a focal point within the United Nations Economic and Social Council for trade facilitation recommendations and electronic business standards. Hanane received a Ph.D. and an M.Sc. in Computer Sciences from the University of Ottawa, Canada.
