Evi has worked in maritime consultancy and training for the last 20 years. She undertakes the planning of marketing strategies and chartering policies of shipping companies, teaches leading shipping companies in-house, and lectures for academic institutions and professional bodies across Europe.

She was awarded with distinction her PhD in Chartering Policy and Marketing Strategy of Shipping Companies from the University of Piraeus, where she had also completed her BSc in Maritime Studies. She also holds an MSc in International Transport from the University of Cardiff, as well as professional qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport (AdDip in Logistics & Transport) and the Cambridge Academy of Transport (ProfDip in Dry Cargo Chartering).

More recently she has published Shipbroking and Chartering Practice, 8th Edition, which is part of the Lloyd’s Practical Shipping Guides series.
