Cecilia's work at I-Tech focus on the regulatory processes required for antifouling biocide approvals on a global scale and she project managed the EU approval of Selektope under the BPR. Her main area of expertise is ecotoxicology, environmental risk assessments, environmental exposure scenarios and biocides legislation.

Cecilia holds a PhD in Environmental Sciences from the University of Gothenburg. The topic of her PhD thesis was ecotoxicology of antifouling biocides towards microbial communities.
