Garth Drury is a senior R&D leader of 30 years’ front-line experience having worked for both research-based and generic companies on both biorational and synthetic active substances in plant protection and ‘non-crop’ markets. He works with an organisation which specialises in achieving and defending pesticide registrations. Garth is currently representative on several regulatory taskforces including for biocontrol products. He is also a regular speaker at conferences, presenting papers on the EU Fertilising Products Regulation (Milan), pheromone exposure modelling (Basel), essential uses (Barcelona), FAO/WHO specifications (Shanghai), operator safety (Bangalore and Brighton), global tolerances (Raleigh) and anti-counterfeiting strategies (Amsterdam).
