David Wang

Dr. Wang is currently Partner of Trinity Innovation Fund since 2019. He possesses over 20 years of biomedical research and development (R&D), R&D operation and business development experience. Dr. Wang started his career with start-up biotechs doing small molecule drug discovery and vaccine development in Singapore. In 2007, he moved to China and joined Novartis (China) Institutes for Biomedical Research to oversee scientific operations, R&D alliance and outsourcing with increasing responsibilities. In 2014, he became Asia Pacific Director of Alliance Management in Sanofi, responsible for business development, transaction and alliance management of external R&D and commercial collaborations.

Dr. Wang pursued his Ph.D. degree in Molecular and Developmental Biology and Master degree of Business Administration (MBA) at National University of Singapore. Prior to that, he obtained Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Master’s degree in Biochemistry from Nankai University.
