Tian Wee has joined Pierre Fabre Medicament as the Managing Director, Asia Pacific since March 2016. The appointment focuses on ensuring the well-being of the Pharmaceuticals and Consumer Health Care businesses in key Asian markets such as Australia, China and Vietnam. Currently, Tian Wee is responsible for providing direct strategic and operational leadership to the organization in China, with a focus on identifying growth opportunities.

Before joining Pierre Fabre, Tian Wee was working with Mundipharma as the Regional Commercial Director, Asia Pacific, Middle East Africa and Latin America. As the lead for commercial operations, sales excellence and market access, he has played a crucial role in building Mundipharma into the diversified, global business that it is today, having been instrumental in the establishment of the company’s business entities in Brazil, Columbia, Middle East, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Mexico, Thailand and Vietnam.

Prior to this appointment, Tian Wee took on the role of General Manager of the Singapore office and Regional Marketing & Business Development Director of Asia Pacific, taking on both roles simultaneously between 2009 and 2012. As General Manager, Tian Wee was responsible for daily sales operations and driving business goals. As Regional Marketing & Business Development Director, he remodeled the organization to increase commercial competitiveness and licensed in key opportunities to strengthen product pipelines.

Before his career with Mundipharma, Tian Wee was the Regional Marketing Director (Reproductive Health) for Serono Asia Pacific. His marketing standards helped Serono attain double digit growth, amounting to US$90 million in value.

Tian Wee holds a Master in Business Administration (International Business) from the Maastricht School of Management, as well as a Bachelor of Science (Pharm) with Honors from the National University of Singapore.
