Chiara Trabacchi is a climate adaptation finance and investing expert with 15 years’ experience. Chiara is Climate Change Manager at British International Investments (BII), where she leads on the development and implementation of the organization’s adaptation and resilience investment strategy. This includes the organisation’s approach to physical risk assessment and management.

Prior to joining BII, Chiara worked for more than 10 years as technical advisor in climate and adaptation finance at several public and private organizations such as the IDB Group, the World Bank Group and Acclimatise.

Chiara holds a PhD in Science and Management of Climate Change from the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. Chiara is fluent in Italian, English and Spanish.
