Boriana Farrar is a Vice President and Chief Legal Officer Patriot Maritime a leading maritime operator in the US and international space.

Boriana Farrar brings in twenty-two (22) years of legal experience. Boriana holds a master’s degree in Admiralty & Maritime Law from Tulane Law School and another master’s degree in International Law from the University of San Diego School of Law. She has a thorough international background, having pursued her legal studies not only in the U.S. but also in her native Bulgaria, the U.K. and the Netherlands. In addition to her native language, she is fluent in English, Russian and German.

Previously, Boriana was a Vice President, Senior Claims Executive and Counsel at the American P&I Club in New York of which Patriot is a member. Boriana also served as a Business Development of the Americas and was responsible for marketing and production in this region. Before joining the Club, Boriana was a partner at a prominent New York maritime law firm Hill Betts & Nash LLP.

Ms. Farrar is past President of Women International Shipping and Trading Association (WISTA), Board member of Seamen’s Church Institute (SCI) and member Committee of the Maritime Law Association of United States (MLA) and Tulane Admiralty Institute Board Member.
