Christopher Kolodziej is currently a postdoctoral appointee in Argonne National Laboratory's Center for Transportation Research. He has 10+ years of research experience working in advanced engine combustion concepts, particulate emissions characterization, and aftertreatment. In addition to academic research in the University of Wisconsin-Madison, the Polytechnic University of Valencia in Spain, and the University of Cambridge; Christopher also has industry experience in Polaris Industries, Cummins Emissions Solutions, Johnson Matthey, and BMW Motoren - Diesel. The current focus of Christopher's research efforts is to better understand the associated trade-offs between fuel efficiency, emissions, engine operating stability, and combustion noise of advanced premixed and stratified engine combustion strategies.
