Christy Coffey is a cybersecurity professional, collaboration advocate, computer scientist, and inventor. She has worked across the cybersecurity and software industries for over 30 years. After spending more than 15 years designing and building systems for Fortune 100 customers, Christy applied her technical background to business relationship management across the security, telecom, and defense industries. As a cybersecurity professional, she is a founder of and currently serves as the VP of Operations for the Maritime Transportation System Information Sharing and Analysis Center (MTS-ISAC).
Christy holds an MS in Cybersecurity and a BS in Computer Science. Professional achievements include a CSO50 Award (2019) and two Computerworld Honors Laureate Awards. Christy designed and developed a software solution for GMAC, which received an award for excellence from General Motors. Also, Christy is a recognized inventor on multiple software patents initially designed for Verizon’s Global Network Operations Center and later sold to SalesForce.com.
