Derek Mysza is Vice President of Global Operations at the Maritech Commercial, where he leads digital transformation and business operations. Maritech Commercial is a leading independent marine and cargo surveying company providing maritime consultancy services to improve safety and quality.

With 15 years of experience in the maritime industry he has held commercial and operational leadership roles in both international and US flagged companies. In each of his roles he has worked with P&I Clubs, regulatory authorities, vetting teams, and digital departments.

He graduated from the University of South Carolina with a BSc in Global Supply Chain / Operations Management & Economics and a MSc in Shipping, Trade in France from Bayes (Formerly Cass) University.
