Profile
Jackson Fox is currently a J.D. candidate at Tulane Law School pursuing the certificate in admiralty and maritime law. He is a junior member of the Tulane Law Review, President of the Jewish Law Students Association, and a legal extern for the U.S. Coast Guard Heartland District (Spring 2026). Previously, he interned for the Hon. Christine P. O’Hearn of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. Before law school, he worked directly in port and shipping operations, including with a non-vessel-operating common carrier and at a major U.S. marine terminal. His experience in the global supply chain directly inspired his decision to study law at Tulane.
Jackson has spent a decade studying Mandarin Chinese and will have completed two semesters abroad by graduation: Taipei, Taiwan (Spring 2023) and Dalian, China (Fall 2026). After graduation, he intends to practice maritime law in New York, where he hopes to utilize his cross-cultural competency and language proficiency to help industry clients navigate international cargo disputes and shipping contracts.
This summer, he will join Freehill, Hogan & Mahar LLP as a Summer Associate.
