After initial experience as an officer aboard ships and offshore drilling rigs, Kevin Kennedy launched a career on the financial side of the maritime industry. He has extensive experience investing in debt, leasing and equity structures at The Bank of New York, GE Capital, Great Circle Management and Seamax Capital. In addition, he served as CFO of Seaspan Corporation and Nautilus Holdings.

Kevin serves on the boards of McAllister Towing, The Instar Group, FPG AIM and Georg Duncker. He was formerly a director of Tufton Oceanic, Seaboard Corporation and Team Tankers. He holds a BS from the US Merchant Marine Academy and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
