Kevin Martel is the General Manager for Wilhelmsen Ship Management based in Houston. Kevin is responsible for the Ship Management of the fleet based in Houston. Wilhelmsen is among the top ten ship mangers in the world and exists as one of the many arms of Wilhelmsen. Wilhelmsen Ship Management specializes in LNG, LPG, Container, Bulk, Cruise, Ro/Ro, Oil and offshore sectors. Wilhelmsen heritage runs deep in the value chain to deliver quality and transparency to our customers, which is the hallmark of our success. Prior to Wilhelmsen, Kevin has worked as a Fleet Director for ship owners, primarily working in the US Flag fleet. Kevin has also held roles as a Port Engineer and Senior Surveyor for class. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of Michigan.
