Makbule serves as Head of Digital for Region Americas at Everllence where she has been involved in shaping digital services from their inception. Her work centers on driving decarbonization through digitalization and enabling smarter, more efficient operations. Before taking on her current role, Makbule led 2 stroke engine retrofit and upgrade projects across Americas for several years, including oversight of government funded projects. Makbule has been working for MAN now Everllence since 2007, initially starting in the Istanbul location where she played a key role in establishing both the workshop and the service business. Prior experiences include working at Celik Tekne Shipyard building MR Tankers and fishing vessels. Makbule holds a Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Yildiz Technical University in Turkey.
