Max is a credit analyst in the maritime finance team of First Citizens Bank in New York. Prior to his current role, he worked on the decarbonization of shipping as a consultant at the World Bank and spent 12 months at sea as a cadet on ocean-going ships. He holds a masters in Shipping, Trade and Finance at Bayes Business School in London, a bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen and a bachelor’s degrees in International Ship Management (nautical sciences) from the City University of Applied Sciences Bremen. Max is passionate about international shipping and is excited to help shape the industry’s future.
