Michael Halbro is 56 years young and started his shipping career as a trainee with AP Moeller-Maersk in Copenhagen in 1991. He has since held positions in Pohl Shipping (Hamburg), ATL (Houston), BBC Chartering (Houston), Armada Shipping (Stamford) and Noble Chartering (Stamford) before he joined ADM as Chartering Director in 2011. Michael is currently overseeing the company’s Latin program, moving about 13mill mt grain/agriprods (about 360 fixtures) per year, primarily in handies up to UMAXes.
