Working in the marine industry for 30 years including NASSCO Shipbuilding and American Bureau of Shipping, as an Electrical Engineer and SME. Currently working in the ABS Chief Engineer’s Office with a primary responsibility of Technical Policy. Major work areas have been in Electrical Power and Automation, Dynamic Positioning, Smart functionalities, Autonomous and Remote Control, Cybersecurity and Cyber Resilience, and Electrification in the Marine and Offshore Industries.
