Nicholas Voltis is the Global Dry Bulk Markets & Technology Lead at Lloyd’s Register, responsible for market intelligence, technology positioning, and strategic engagement across the global dry bulk segment. He supports LR’s growth in the sector by working closely with Charterers, Shipowners and Yards. Previously, Nicholas spent 1.5 years with LR’s Business Advisory as an Energy Transition Analyst, contributing to projects on energy transition strategies and ship design evolution. Before joining Lloyd’s Register, he worked as a Naval Architect at ABL Group and as a Financial Analyst at Union Maritime Limited.

Nicholas holds a BEng in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, an MSc in Sustainable Energy & Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London, and an Executive Education Diploma in Finance from the University of Cambridge.
