Nithesh "Waz" Wazenn is the Founder and CEO of DOLGO, a maritime technology company spun out of the NOAA Ocean Enterprise Accelerator for addressing the critical skills shortage in the shipbuilding and marine autonomy sectors. DOLGO is building the "experience infrastructure" for the maritime workforce, using a connect worker platform to capture the tacit knowledge of retiring experts and transfer it to the next generation at the moment of need.
With a background in Blue Economy corporate strategy, Waz previously served as the Business Lead for Blue Economy initiatives across the Nordics, the EU, and the UK. He holds an MBA from Babson College. Waz is a passionate advocate for human-centered design in ocean innovation, believing that the maritime industry’s technological advancement depends entirely on empowering its workforce.
