Prior to joining BV in 2023, Robert held leadership positions at Maersk Tankers, where he gained deep insights into the operational and commercial challenges facing tanker owners and operators. As a Marine Engineer and Naval Architect with an MBA from the Technical University of Denmark, he has the unique ability to bridge the gap between engineering and commercial strategy, developing innovative solutions to support the industry's evolving needs.

Under Robert's guidance, the tanker division at Bureau Veritas has experienced significant growth, cementing the company's position as the preferred Class Society for tanker owners globally.
