With over 25 years of maritime experience, Roine has held a variety of executive and senior leadership roles in shipping and real estate. Currently, he serves as the Chief Commercial Officer at Wilhelmsen Ship Management. Prior to this appointment, Roine served as the CEO of Barber Ship Management, the tanker arm of Wilhelmsen Ship Management. In this role, Roine is responsible for achieving fleet growth for ship management.

Earlier in his career, Roine was the Managing Director of Tufton Asset Management, where he managed a team overseeing the commercial, technical, and operational management of a mixed fleet portfolio of over 90 ships.

Roine has extensive global experience, having worked in managerial positions across Asia, Europe, and the US with Eastern Pacific Shipping and Zodiac Maritime. He holds an MBA from London Business School (Strategy and Finance) and a Master’s license, with sailing experience on crude, product, Ro-Ro, Ro-Pax, and cruise ships.
