Scott Edwards is the CORE POWER Director of Regulatory Development. Scott is a Chemical and Nuclear Engineer, with an MBA. He has over 30 years of experience in the nuclear industry, starting as a Lieutenant in the US Navy at Naval Reactors Headquarters. Much of his career was spent in the US Department of Energy complex cleanup mission and transporting radioactive and nuclear materials around the world. While part of the World Nuclear Transport Institute in London, Scott served at the International Atomic Energy Agency on the Transport Safety Standards Committee. His responsibilities at CORE POWER include working with maritime and nuclear regulators, class societies, the insurance industry, and the maritime community around the world.
