Ted Lester is a technology-driven strategic leader focused on the accelerated, safe deployment of novel aerial and maritime vehicles through building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. As Vice President of Certification at REGENT, he leads seaglider certification efforts and engagements with national maritime regulators and classification societies. Ted also oversees the systems engineering, crew integration, and vehicle testing activities at REGENT. He’s previously worked on certified avionics for both civil and military aircraft as well as unmanned aircraft airspace integration. He holds a B.A. from Middlebury College in Physics and an S.M. from MIT in Aeronautics and Astronautics.
