As Deputy General Rapporteur at the French Competition Authority (Autorité de la concurrence), Erwann KERGUELEN heads Antitrust Unit 3, overseeing investigations into some of the most significant competition cases affecting distribution markets and commercial practices in France.

Drawing on a combination of engineering, business administration, and competition law expertise, he has played a key role in several cases since joining the Autorité de la concurrence in 2011, including the investigations into the Auchan/Casino/Metro/Schiever and Carrefour/Tesco purchasing alliances, as well as major cartel decisions in the floor coverings and household appliances sectors.

A recognised authority on Unfair Trade Practices, Erwann Kerguelen is the author of several editions of the leading reference work on the subject, published by Revue Concurrences, and regularly contributes to competition and distribution law journals.
