Council Member, Deputy Chairwoman at Competition Council, Lithuania

Karina Kučaidze-Wencel has been a Member of the Lithuanian Competition Council since July 2021 and was appointed Deputy Chairwoman in January 2026. Prior to this, she held positions at the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority, working in the Mergers and Antitrust units as a Principal Case Officer and Assistant Director. From 2012 to 2015, she served as Chief Expert in the Anti-competitive Agreements Investigation Division at the Lithuanian Competition Council. Karina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from ISM University of Management and Economics and a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Bath.
