Currently, Rita is the Head of Legal Services at the Lithuanian Railways, in charge of a team of 20 lawyers ensuring legal services to a group of entities in Lithuania, Poland and Ukraine.

Before joining Lithuanian Railways in 2023, Rita practised law at top-tier Pan-Baltic law firms, where she led a Competition team and was a Co-Head of the EU, Regulatory and Competition practice group. In 2022 and 2023, Legal 500 recognised her as a „Next Generation Partner“ in the EU and Competition (EMEA) by. Rita gained Master of Laws degrees from Utrecht University and Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University. She is also a country contributor for the European Regulatory and Competition Review (CoRe, Lexxion).
