Neal has acted in numerous reported cases, for example from one of the first Adjudication cases (Picardi -v- Cuniberti) to professional negligence claims (Costain –v- Haswell). Neal’s other reported cases include ERDC v Brunel University (regarding letters of intent and quantum meruit), Nautilus v Claymore (‘no contract’ issues and claims for interest) and Martlet v Mulalley (the first fire safety cladding case to go to Court, including the Court of Appeal).

His practical experience includes many termination cases – including ABB -V- McLaren concerning the obligation to novate and/or assign subcontracts following a termination.
