Alex is an Ombudsman Leader at the Financial Ombudsman Service with over 25 years’ experience in Financial Services – spending the last 15 years in senior operational leader and ombudsman roles across complaints and policy.
He’s passionate about delivering excellent customer service and driving high and aspirational standards in performance. He has an energy and drive for helping others and is committed to levelling the playing field for colleagues, creating an inclusive, equitable and respectful working environment for all – he also chairs the Ombudsman Service’s Carers Network.
Alex is currently Head of Practice for matters arising from Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act and Quality of Goods issues – and also leads their work in the debt sector. For the last two years he has been leading their wider Consumer Credit sectorial work on Consumer Duty and supporting Consumer Duty work across the organisation.
