Will leads the first line risk and compliance function for Ecclesiastical’s UK general insurance business. This involves promoting a culture of compliance and risk-awareness, providing assurance and advice to the rest of the leadership team and responding to emerging risks and regulatory change.

Will is a Chartered Insurer and has worked in general insurance for twenty years, over half of this in the Lloyd’s market, in roles across claims, change projects, risk and compliance. He is an author for the Chartered Insurance Institute and a member of the ABI’s Conduct Regulation Committee.

Established 135 years ago, Ecclesiastical Insurance is part of the Benefact Group, an independent, specialist financial services group that exists to give its profits to charity. The Group is the fourth largest corporate donor to charity in the UK and recently celebrated giving over £100m since 2016.
