Doug has over 30 years of industry experience working on both the client and service side of the business. He possesses valuable insights in developing strategic and tactical go-to-market plans designed to achieve access and reimbursement objectives for even the most challenging brands. Doug’s therapeutic experience is extensive, spanning a wide variety of therapeutic areas, brands and portfolios including vaccines, primary care, specialty products, rare/orphan diseases and medical devices.
Doug started his career at Merck & Co., Inc holding various roles of increasing responsibility across sales, marketing and market access before joining NPS Pharma, a start-up biotech. Following NPS, Doug spent over a decade on the service side of the industry as a Managing Director leading agencies and consultancies supporting biopharma.
Doug is currently Senior Director, Payer Marketing & Access Strategy for Bausch & Lomb, a globally recognized company in eye care.
