Laura Ortiz-Ravick is the Director for Outreach and Health Promotions at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), where she oversees national outreach programs that support underserved populations, including Myeloma Link, a program that raises awareness of the higher incidence of myeloma among Black Americans, connects families to support and enhances access to care. Laura also oversees LLS’ Hispanic Outreach Initiative, which seeks to increase the number of Hispanic families served by LLS by providing culturally and linguistically appropriate education programs and resources. Laura earned an MA from New York University and is pursuing a doctorate in public health at University of Illinois-Chicago.
