Ulrich Neumann, MBA, MSc, MA, BSc, BA, is a leader in the Scientific Affairs group at Johnson & Johnson, where he oversees economic research and collaborations on health and innovation policy. He has previously held leadership roles at Certara and Analytica Laser and founded Pharmvivo. As a business leader, he developed value and evidence generation strategies across a dozen therapeutic areas. Ulrich has also extensively written on policy topics such as R&D economics, financing for cell and gene therapies, and payer management, with scientific studies published in leading journals such as Nature Drug Discovery. He holds graduate degrees from Imperial College London, the London School of Economics, and USC, as well as technical certificates from MIT, Kellogg, and Columbia.
