Rick Petralia serves as the Director of Menu Strategy & Innovation for Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, a fast-casual burger brand with over 550 locations known for its frozen custard and hand-pressed steakburgers. With over 25 years of experience in the restaurant industry, Rick has dedicated the last decade to LSR menu strategy. In his current role at Freddy’s, he defines the culinary strategy for the core menu and LTOs, driving innovation and customer satisfaction. Under his leadership, Freddy’s has experienced record LTO sales and numerous core menu improvements. Prior to his role at Freddy’s, he served as the director of culinary innovation for Fazoli’s, a fast casual Italian chain with over 200 locations. Rick holds an MBA from Hult International Business School and is a certified executive chef.
