Steve Sturm joined Firebirds as the Executive Chef in August 2000 and was instrumental in the development and evolution of the original Firebirds menu. From June 1999 to August 2000, he served as Executive Chef and equity partner in Seven Sisters, featuring New South Cuisine, located in Buford, GA. From August 1998 to May 1999, he served as Executive Chef at A1A Ale Works in St. Augustine, FL, featuring New World Cuisine. From July 1996 to August 1998, he was Corporate Chef at The Loop Restaurants, where he developed new menu items. From September 1992 to July 1996, he was Executive Sous Chef at Ragtime Tavern. Chef Sturm trained at the St. Augustine Culinary Arts School and the FCCJ Culinary Arts Program.
