Justyna BARTNICKA – since 2018 working for the European Commission, Maritime Safety Unit. She is responsible for seafarers’ education, training and certification as well as living and working conditions at sea. From the very beginning of the pandemic she has been very deeply involved on the European Commission activities aiming at facilitating the crew changes including the cooperation with the shipping industry representatives and UN agencies. Before joining the EC she was working for 7 years in the Polish Permanent Representation to the EU starting as a shipping attaché and after she has been appointed as a Head of Transport Policy Division. Graduated of political sciences at the University of Szczecin.
